Use engine braking. Do not ride the brakes the whole way down. If fog sits on the ridge after 4 pm, slow down and use dipped beams — not hazards as a driving style.
Parking
Mall Road is not your long-stay car park. Use designated stands and walk. A compact SUV is easier than a Fortuner if you insist on self-drive into town.
